CM announces concessions for farmers in case of lockdown


* Farmers can move freely with equipment and men


* Strict instruction to ensure that the police system does not           harass farmers




Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has made 4 decisions to prevent farmers from getting into trouble in the state of lockdown in the state.  In the current Ravi season, this is the time of crop harvest, when harvesters will be able to mobilize drivers, laborers and farm workers with equipment such as harvester, thresher ripper, and after this crop harvest, all these agricultural products can be taken to their homes or godowns without rock.  Currently, at some places in the day, while some places are getting electricity supply to the farmers at night, in these times farmers will be able to go to work in the fields.  Similar concessions have also been announced for farmers taking vegetables, horticultural crops and summer crops.  The Chief Minister has also given necessary instructions to the police system to ensure that farmers do not face problems in the current situation.

* The decision to release 1500 prisoners from the state on parole



Chief Minister Rupani has decided to release the prisoners on the two months of parole work and raw work in various prisons on the basis of Supreme Court guidelines.  Following this, the process of releasing 1200 raw and prisoners from 300 prisons in the state prisons for at least 45 days on bail will begin on Monday.  The Sabarmati Jail will provide bail to 120 raw work and 30 permanent work prisoners.
