Government gives huge relief to drivers in Corona crisis  Extended date until June 30

Driving licenses and other motor vehicle documents that were invalidated on February 1 will now be valid until June 30.  The decision has been taken by the central government in view of the nationwide lockdown on Covid 19 (Corona virus).  The country was locked down last week to fight the highly contagious disease corona virus, which goes into effect until April 14.

* Lockdown status across the country

* Government gives relief in driving license

* Driving license extended till June 30

The Ministry of Guidance Transport and Highways has asked all states and union territories to keep the documents like driving licenses, permits and registration papers valid till June 30.

This decision was made for the benefit of the people

It's been a week since the lockdown.  However, due to the closure of state transport offices (RTOs), the decision has been taken to facilitate those who are facing difficulties in renewing the validity of these motor vehicle documents.

As per the documents, the permit includes a permit, driving license, registration or other documents disclosed under the motor vehicle rule.  The Center has appealed to all states to "fully" apply this advice so that people, transporters and organizations providing essential services are not in trouble.
