In fact, on April 1, 2020, BS6 emission norms have been implemented in the country.  As a result, only BS6 vehicles will be sold in the country.  However, Maruti Suzuki announced last year that the company will gradually stop producing diesel cars.

Meanwhile, Maruti has stopped producing its Swift 1.3 liter diesel engine oriented car.  The company has also discontinued the sale of the car from its website.  This means that the Maruti Swift has gone out of the market for diesel variants.  Maruti Suzuki has also removed the Swift diesel engine from its official website.  Now this car will only be available in petrol engine options in BS6 norms.  The company had earlier stated that the company will not update the diesel cars in BS6.

The company used a 1.3-liter Multijet for Cylinder unit in this hatchback.  Which generates 74bhp of power and 190Nm of peak torque.  The X showroom price in Delhi from Maruti Swift is between Rs 5,19,000 to Rs 8,02,000 lakh.

It is worth mentioning that Maruti launched Swift in 2005.  This is one of the company's best-selling cars.  The company has sold over 7 lakh units so far.  As you can tell, the Maruti Swift diesel variant was delivering excellent mileage of 28Kmpl.  While in the petrol variant, the company claims to provide a mileage of 21 km per liter.
