Non-subsidized LPG cylinder reduces by up to Rs 65

   The price of subsidized cooking gas in the country by the central government from Rs.61 to Rs.  Has been reduced to 65.  The price of LPG cylinder has dropped for the second consecutive month.  This is a relaxed decision for users amid the lockdown.  New rates go into effect April 1.  14.2 kg LPG cylinders in Delhi are priced at Rs.  61.50, while in Mumbai it has dropped by Rs.  62 is reduced.  Due to the continuous decline in the price of crude oil in the world market, petro products and cooking gas have become cheaper.  Natural gas prices have also been volatile.  Which will have a direct impact on CNG PNG prices.  Customers will now get Rs.  The subsidy of 291.48 will be attainable.  Under the Prime Minister's Ujjwala scheme, subsidy of Rs.312.48 is given on every cylinder.


* Prices were raised 6 times between August and February


   Cylinders of subsidized cooking gas in Delhi will now be available at Rs 744.  At first it was priced at Rs 805.50.  Non-subsidized cylinders in Mumbai are priced at Rs.  Instead of 776.50 now it has been reduced to Rs 714.50 while in Kolkata and Chennai it has been reduced to Rs.7774.50 and Rs761.50 respectively.  Earlier in March, oil companies had reduced the price of cooking gas by Rs 53 per cylinder.  LPG prices were hiked six times since the month of August last year.  The price increase was about 50 percent.  This has dropped in March and now in April.  The government provides subsidy of 12 cylinders annually to the culinary consumers.  If the user consumes more and more than 12 cylinders are used, then every cylinder after the 12th cylinder has to be bought at market price ie without subsidy.  Radhagas prices are determined based on fluctuations in crude prices in the world market.


* Natural gas prices hit 2014.


  The price of natural gas has been reduced by 5% by the government.  Thus, the price of natural gas has come down to 2014.  Government and industry will now get natural gas at lower prices.  CNG.  PNG prices will also fall.
