Adani Gas and Gujarat Gas have announced a reduction of Rs.2.25 in CNG and Rs 1 in PNG as per the hypothesis that natural gas prices have dropped by 26%.  These new reduced prices will go into effect tomorrow, April 9.  However, PNG has declined marginally.

CNG-driven vehicles are being promoted in part to reduce the burden of imported petrol and diesel in the country.  Earlier prices were much lower, but with the rise of CNG prices over the past few years, petrol has come closer.  However, the fall in natural gas prices internationally has also affected the domestic market.

Adani Gas Limited has announced a reduction in the prices of CNG and PNG for home use as it goes into effect from 9th April.  Adani has reduced CNG prices by Rs.2.25 per kg in Ahmedabad and Vadodara in Gujarat.  While PNG prices for home use in all geographies have been reduced by Rs.1 per SCM.  Of the 80 CNG pumps located in the entire Adani gas state, 71 are operational.  While Domestic Gas has 3.13 lakh and Commercial and Industrial Gas has 4253 customers.  Which will have the benefit of reducing this price.  Adani Gas Consumers will get the benefit of price reduction from 1st April.

Gujarat Gas, which has 15 lakh customers, has also announced a reduction of Rs.2.25 in CNG and Rs 1 reduction in PNG.  Both companies are due tomorrow.  The new reduced price will come into effect from 9th April.

At present, due to the lockdown due to corona, Adani Gas has sent a message to all its customers and send it to meter reading sms, website or via mobile apps.  Customers who do not send meter readings will be sent an average bill, the company said in the message.
