One thousand rupees will be deposited in the bank account of every worker and workers: CM

    In the case of lock-down, the government of Gujarat has announced a package of Rs 650 crore for the unorganized workers, construction workers of around 1 lakh poor.  The decision was taken at a core committee meeting chaired by the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister in Gandhinagar.  Late last night, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani announced that the government would deposit Rs 1,000 to his bank account to help 65 lakh such families financially assisted in the corona situation.  They have begun distributing grains without cost to their families.  In a single day, more than one million people have also received grain.  Due to the corona epidemic, the core committee meets regularly in case of lock-down.  In which the last state of affairs in relation to the corona in the state is reviewed.  Home Committee Minister of State for Home Affairs Pradeep Singh Jadeja, Principal Secretary Anil Mukim CMO Manojkumar Das and Principal Secretary to Chief Minister K.  Kailasanathan was present.

Police also consider appointment after retirement


The Department of Health and the Panchayat have decided to keep all the officers and employees who have retired from 31st March to 31st May under the principle of pay minus pension in contract based government service.  Describing the decision, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel said that a decision is under consideration for the retired field officers and employees from April 1 to May 7 so that retirement does not create a shortage of experienced police in the field.
