The poor will get free 5 kg 8 gas cylinder till June

 The oil companies have started transferring Rs 5606 crore to the bank account of 7.1 crore beneficiaries under the Prime Minister Ujvla Yojana (PMUY) so that the beneficiary can get a free cylinder under the Prime Minister's Poor Scheme.

 An oil ministry spokesman has clarified that the poorest families using a five-kilogram cylinder to cope with the situation caused by the Covid-19 will be entitled to receive eight free cylinders for three months, April, May and June, and the beneficiary families will use 14.2 kg of gas cylinder.  has been doing .  They will be able to get three cylinders for free.

* 85 lakh cylinders were provided free of cost

 Officials at Indian Oil Corporation, the country's largest retail oil company, said that the company had already transferred Rs 2780 crore to the beneficiary's bank account for the purpose of getting the first cylinder free of its 3.7 million customers under the PMUY scheme.
